Aditi Gupta, is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of Menstrupedia, working towards spreading awareness about menstruation. While studying at the National Institute of Design, as a Ford Foundation research Scholar she has conducted extensive research in understanding the scenario of menstrual unawareness in India and its impact on a girl’s life. She has designed effective educational tools for girls and schools using storytelling and sequential art for educating young girls about periods in a society where the subject is a major taboo.
Aditi was named Forbes India 30 under 30, 2014 for her work towards breaking the taboo around menstruation. She is a TED speaker and also an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumni. Aditi was named as” Most Influential Women” by BW Business World Magazine. Her work has been featured in TIME Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Channel 4 News, Forbes India, India Today, Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Femina Magazines. She is a GoalKeeper and also a Global Shaper alumnus at the World Economic Forum. Aditi aspires to create a future where menstruation is not a taboo but a welcoming change in a girl’s life.

Anika was the COO of Fortis La Femme – Hospitals for Women and Children until October 2018. She has over 19 years of experience working with reputable organizations such as Fortis Healthcare, Mahindra & Mahindra, The National Childbirth Trust, BSKYB, Channel 4 and Old World Hospitality, to name a few. She has been creating innovative brands in women care and women’s health in India for the past 15 years.

2 decades ago in 1999, Meenakshi Gupta Co-Founder GOONJ, started the award winning nonprofit with her husband Anshu Gupta. A Commerce Graduate with an advanced degree in Advertising and Public from IIMC, Meenakshi largely remained the behind the scenes worker in the initial years of Goonj. In 2005 she joined the work full time, ending her 15 years corporate career, also ending 8-year stint as News Publicity Head at BBC South Asia. With Goonj’s widespread work Meenakshi has focused on serving the people and her team with the foundational values of Goonj. She is especially passionate about giving voice to unheard communities, especially women, on their neglected issues and needs like menstrual hygiene, in far flung villages of India. Often called the backbone of the organization Meenakshi works closely with Anshu and the rest of the team to build pan India civic engagement through powerful communication with the masses. Widely traveled nationally and internationally Meenakshi terms her time with people in the deep interior of India as her biggest learning personally and professionally. A trained Dance Movement Facilitator, she finds it most enriching and inspiring to connect with youth taking initiatives for the country.

Vikas Bagaria is the Founder of PeeSafe, India’s leading daily hygiene brand owned by Redcliffe Hygiene Pvt. Ltd. A serial entrepreneur and a seasoned businessman, Vikas holds 20 years of experience and has been responsible for setting up and successfully running multiple businesses. His first venture VR Forklift was established in 1997, followed by SRV – damage prevention, a leading conditional based monitoring business, in 2003. Moving ahead, the unfortunate incident of the Nirbhaya rape case inspired Vikas to start India’s 1st online portal for Safety products, SafetyKart.com. Vikas and his wife, Srijana fashioned the idea of a toilet hygiene spray, PeeSafe in 2013. He then laid the foundation of Redcliffe Hygiene Pvt. Ltd., the pioneer in India’s daily hygiene space, along with co-founder, Dheeraj Jain. While leading the PeeSafe operations out of Gurgaon, Delhi, Dubai & Colombo, Vikas is also helping Indian Defense, Aerospace, Power Transformer and Energy companies in their conditional-based monitoring systems.
Being well-acquainted with women’s contribution to the start-up ecosystem and encouraging the platforms working towards it, Vikas has invested in many start-ups by women entrepreneurs. Some of them include Dibz, EdgeFX and Let’s Barter India. He has also invested in technology startups like ASADELTECH®, GrowTech Innovations, Innov8, Shaadi Saga and CoutLoot. Vikas is a mentor and board member at Wess Foundation. A qualified Child Safety Auditor, Vikas also aids early-stage learning pre-school and daycare centers in childproofing their facilities.
